A Data Centre is proposed to be established in liaison with the Government communities of interest within the Digital Oman strategy. The initiative shall establish and oversee the operations of the data centre with modern infrastructure including the network and site – all within an established security framework. The centre shall enable government organizations to provide for better business continuity and more efficient and effective risk management.

It houses a centralized business engine and repository for mission critical information and is also the hub for mission critical IT applications and corporate data.
