Minister of Transport, Communications, and Information Technology Visits Al Dakhiliyah Governorate to Review Road Projects and Digital Transformation Plans
As part of ongoing efforts to enhance the quality of road infrastructure and accelerate digital transformation across the governorates, H.E. Eng. Said bin Hamoud Al Maawali, Minister of Transport, Communications, and Information Technology, paid a visit to Al Dakhiliyah Governorate this morning.
During the visit, His Excellency met with H.E. Sheikh Hilal bin Said bin Hamdan Al Hajri, Governor of Al Dakhiliyah, at the Governorate Office, in the presence of H.E. Dr. Ali bin Amer Al Shidhani, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Transport, Communications, and Information Technology for Communications and Information Technology.
The meeting included a review of several key road network projects across the wilayats of the governorate, along with their planned implementation phases. These projects fall within the Ministry’s broader efforts to upgrade national infrastructure in line with the highest engineering and safety standards.
Discussions also addressed challenges and proposals for improving digital infrastructure services, as well as a follow-up on the progress of the digital transformation plan in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate, which aims to enhance the quality of government services and improve the overall experience for citizens.
This visit underscores the continued coordination among government entities to promote sustainable and comprehensive development, while ensuring integration between transport infrastructure and digital services across the Sultanate’s governorates.
