About the program
Sas Center for Entrepreneurship Center has teamed up with the UK-Oman Digital Hub and CyLon Spark to run the 2nd edition of the Cybersecurity early-stage accelerator program. The intensive online short-term program aims to support individuals at the very early stage of their entrepreneurial journey by preparing them with the technical and business know how they need to enter the market.
CyLon Spark, which is specifically designed for individuals with ideas, rather than established companies, is an initiative from CyLon. CyLon, a leading UK-based cybersecuirty accelerator finds, grows and invests in the world’s best emerging cyber businesses. From hubs in London and Singapore CyLon connects cyber companies to a diverse global community of buyers, investors and advisors.
Since its launch in April 2015, CyLon has already successfully supported more than 100 companies and has a portfolio now valued at more than £400m. CyLon alumni have created more than 350 new jobs and have raised over £120m of follow-on funding.
This partnership builds on Oman’s growing reputation in the cybersecurity domain in the region, as well as the Digital Hub’s high profile initiatives in the local cyber ecosystem. It will connect the Sas Center for Entrepreneurship, its entrepreneurs and mentors, to a leading UK-based cybersecuirty accelerator progam and international mentors and experts.
