Who can apply?
Anyone based in the MENA region with an interest in cyber security innovation can apply. We are looking for people who can demonstrate entrepreneurial flair and spirit, and who are committed to exploring a career in cyber security. We welcome applications from individuals at any stage of their career.
Do I have to be technically trained?
Technical expertise is not a necessity for this programme. Cyber innovation is deeply technical at a product level, but it takes all sorts to run a successful business. In the long run, it will help you to have some technical understanding, but HutZero is about forming teams and crystallising ideas. If you learn fast and are interested in the cyber market, we welcome your application.
Do I have to be based in Muscat for the duration of the program?
No the program will be virtual (online). During the boot campes, we require you to participate in all scheduled days of each one.
Do I have to be committed full time to the program?
Yes, to make the most of the program and the mentors who are available, we expect you to be working on your business idea full time during the program.
When are the interviews and do I have to attend in person?
All interviews will be conducted online three weeks before the program starts.
