MTC honors 62 trainees Completed a number of specialized programs

The Ministry of Technology and Communications “MTC” celebrated in Sas Center for Mobile Apps Development the honoring of 62 trainees who completed specialized training in IT including the 11th batch of SAS mobile apps development training, 17th batch of SAS Virtual Reality training, Najeh training program for job seekers in the field of IT infrastructure and Najeh program for employees in the field of website development. the celebration was attended by Dr. Salim bin Sultan Al Ruzaiqi, CEO of MTC along with the trainees and MTC’s management.

Public Authority for Manpower Register Launches "NIMR" Portal

The Public Authority for Manpower Register in cooperation with the Ministry of Technology and Communications launched the National Integrated Manpower Register (NIMR) Portal, to improve interconnection procedures with the relevant parties, reduce the amount of forms required from users to complete the service and increase transparency in the services provided by the Authority. As part of their efforts  to empower Small and Medium size Enter-prises (SMEs), the Ministry of Technology and Communication (MTC) in partnership with the Public Authority for Craft Industries (PACI) have  signed yesterday morning at the ministry headquarter a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Oman Oil Marketing Company (OOMCO)  to enable Oman’s Craftsmen in digital marketing. Supporting the MTC’s  Community IT Training Project (CITT), which aims to create a shift towards a digital Oman, the collabora-tion will benefit Craftsmen registered with PACI, helping them build their online capabilities, promote their products on social media platforms and expand their businesses.
