MTCIT launches a training program for women

As part of the activities of the "Makeen" initiative and to enhance women's participation in the ICT sector and develop women's capacities in this vital sector, the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology, represented by the General Directorate of ICT sector stimulation and Future Skills, held on Monday at the Huawei Training Center in Omantel the Women Forum in ICT. This forum cooperates with the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Social Development, Huawei, Oman Telecommunications Company (Omantel), and Oman Liquefied Natural Gas Company.

MTCIT and Hutchison ports Suhar signed a framework agreement to develop,manage and operate port Khasab

UN eGov Survey 2022 ranks Oman 50 in eGov

The Sultanate of Oman ranking has improved in the United Nations eGovernment Survey 2022 published by the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UNDESA). The survey, which is released every two years,still ranks Oman 50 out of the 193 member state countries while its has advanced to the 3rd rank among the Aab region and GCC states.
