The Ministry of Transport, Communications, and Information Technology recorded 200 million data exchange requests in the first half of this year, totaling over one billion transactions conducted through the "National Government Integration Platform," which currently hosts 152 electronic services provided by 32 government institutions for the benefit of 64 beneficiary entities, including units of the state administrative apparatus and private sector institutions.

This achievement reflects the Ministry's diligent efforts within its plan to enhance the efficiency of government services and improve user experience as part of the governmental digital transformation plan. The platform aims to simplify procedures and expedite the completion of government transactions by enabling concerned entities to access necessary data and information instantly without requiring additional documents from beneficiaries. It also contributes to reducing the use of paper documents and enhancing the efficiency of government services, saving time and effort for citizens, residents, and the business sector.

The National Government Integration Platform is a fundamental pillar in the digital infrastructure of the Sultanate of Oman and a central platform for data exchange between various government entities in a secure and seamless manner. It also enables government units in the Sultanate to exchange their data with their counterparts in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries centrally and securely through the Gulf network.

The Ministry looks forward to continuing the development of the platform and expanding its services in line with its ambitious national goals, which aim to build and develop a thriving digital economy that provides smart and convenient government services for all citizens, residents, and business sectors.
