The Ministry of Transport, Communications, and Information Technology Announces the Launch of a New Maritime Line Connecting Shinas Port with Bandar Abbas Port in Iran
As part of the efforts by the Ministry of Transport, Communications, and Information Technology, in collaboration with its partners, the operators of Omani ports, to maximize the returns from the ports and to continue the efforts to develop Shinas Port; the Ministry of Transport, Communications, and Information Technology announced the launch of a new maritime line connecting Shinas Port with Bandar Abbas Port in Iran.
The launch of the new maritime line is based on the partnership agreement signed between QSS Maritime (the operator and developer of Shinas Port) and World Modern Lights LLC. This agreement includes the launch of the maritime line and the rehabilitation and operation of a new passenger terminal, aiming to provide a comfortable and smooth experience for travelers through Shinas Port with modern facilities and services.
The strategic partnership aims to enhance and stimulate tourism and trade exchange between the Sultanate of Oman and the Islamic Republic of Iran. It also reflects the commitment of the Shinas Port operator to developing and rehabilitating the port's infrastructure and activating it.
