Next Wednesday: Celebration of Logistics Day 2025

The Ministry of Transport, Communications, and Information Technology will celebrate Logistics Day 2025 next Wednesday, under the patronage of His Excellency Sayyid Saud bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Governor of Muscat.

The event’s program will feature a presentation highlighting the key achievements of the logistics sector and its contributions to strengthening the national economy. The ceremony will also witness the announcement of a range of initiatives for the logistics sector for the current year and the signing of several agreements. In addition, the winners of the second edition of the Best Practices Award in the Logistics Sector will be announced, recognizing excellence and encouraging stakeholders within the sector.

The celebration will also include a panel discussion titled “Logistics Sustainability in Light of Global Trends,” along with a wide array of working papers to be presented by a group of experts, specialists, and stakeholders in the sector.

It is worth noting that this celebration comes at a time when the logistics sector continues to play a pivotal role in enhancing the national economy. Oman has witnessed significant development in its land, sea, and air port infrastructure, as well as its logistics facilities, strengthening the Sultanate’s position as a global logistics hub.
